Geospatial Plot data workflow (GeoPlot)
Broadbent EN, Almeyda Zambrano AM. Geospatial Plot (GeoPlot) Data: updated full-resolution multi-buffer bioclimatic, edaphic, land-use and land-cover, human dimensions, and ecological parameters for spatially distributed plot networks. Version # downloaded from www.geoplot.org on month/day/year.
The SPECLab’s Geospatial Plot Data Workflow (GeoPlot - see http://www.geoplot.org) uses a blended approach that integrates custom procedures in the IDL, R, and Python coding languages, with Google Earth Engine, ArcMap, and ENVI workflows to calculate a suite of more than 390 biophysical and land-use parameters for georeferenced plot centroids and their surrounding landscapes. In addition to plot centers, landscape parameter values are characterized using statistics calculated over radius buffer distances surrounding plot centers of 10, 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000 meters.
Data includes the SPEC Lab's Global Aboveground Potential (GAP) and Global Ecosystem Structure Index (GESI) data products.
